    Pros +

    • Lovely location. The room itself was larger than expected, and clean. The beds were comfortable.
    • The hotel was lovely and the staff was amazing. Comfortable spacious room with lovely view of the ocean.
    • Liked the location. We walked to the train station and went to Kamakura and then back to Enoshima. The walk was super pleasant through the neighborhoods. We got to see the beautiful homes. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the views were superb!

    Cons -

    • There appeared to be a disparity between how the hotel staff treated foreigners and non-foreigners. For example, foreigners were not offered porter services. Front desk staff were not particularly warm or friendly to foreigners either. The electric bikes available out the front were not able to be used by those with an Australian (+61) sim card. This isn't the hotel's fault of course, but worth noting. Finally, we were told there is no room temperature control in the winter months. Meaning we couldn't put on the AC when we first opened the room on a particularly warm and stuffy day, or turn on the heating when the temperatures dropped to zero overnight.
    • The hotel is a little outside of the main Kamakura attractions. However the train station is very close by making it easy to get to where you need to go.
    • When we checked in it was around 5 pm and we were starving. The hotel staff suggested the French restaurant on the property and said we could go upstairs and eat. When we got there they said that they were not taking any more reservations. It was a bummer. So we went back down to the front desk and they didn’t know that they weren’t taking any more reservations. They then suggested the hotel provided Japanese restaurant which was on premises but located outside the hotel. We went there and there was no one to greet us. It felt like an old conference room. Finally someone came and sat us right around 6 pm so about 10 min. The restaurant had two other couples in it. We were seated but no one came to take our order. Several Asian couples came in after us and they were waited on by staff. Not once were we acknowledged. It had been about 20 min so we got up and left. It felt very weird and off putting. We ended up walking down the street, ran into another couple who sent us to Bills restaurant and it was the best meal of the trip.

Location and the Japanese food! The Japanese restaurant’s food is even better than the 2-3 time of prices meals in Hakone, way better! Besides, the room provides all you need for a good stay such as very good hair dryer and travel size skin care set. The hair and body wash products are very high quality as well.

The room is a bit old.

I felt the value was very good. Our breakfast was very good and an unexpected bonus. It wasn't included but not having to leave and find food was very convenient. I felt the price for the room, although the most expensive of our trip, was still very good considering the location and the view. Additionally the little balcony was also an unexpected pleasure.

There is some black mold in the tile grout in the bathroom

The view from our room was gorgeous. I could clearly see Enoshima Island and the sea from my room. They have a shuttle bus that goes back and forth to Shichirigahama Station. The ride takes about 5 minutes. If you decide to walk it, it’s about a 10 minute walk and you’ll walk right by a 7-Eleven and some stairs to go down to the beach. The location is pretty good and the restaurants in the area are local and family owned, no chain restaurants. Some staff speaks basic English, but I did not have a problem checking in.

The building sits on a steep hill. They do have an elevator which runs from the hotel to their banquet hall, which is at the base of the hill, but it stops working after a certain time. Also, their breakfast is on the pricier end and the quality is alright.

    Awesome location and pool

Some of the staff were rude

    8AiPosted on: 5-28-2025

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. If you want to stay away from tourists this is a great location. There aren’t too many restaurant options around. Beach is close.

Great location, you can see the Fuji Mountain from the room window and the rooftop garden. The breakfast restaurant has a nice view as well, peaceful atmosphere. Bed and bathroom are comfortable. There is a big supermarket and some restaurants 5 mins walk away. !!Parking is 1000 yen a day!!

Some staff’s English is not good enough.

A great quality hotel, very well kept, with lovely view.

Just a bit of a walk from the train (12 minutes) making it more challenging with luggage: if your weather is good, that's no problem. The restaurant closed early by an hour from the posted time, and as we arrived late in the evening we could only buy from their hotel store, and that didn't go well. I suppose weekends the restaurant is open longer, but weekdays if they don't have enough customers...

    9AnnaPosted on: 4-18-2025

Like the facing of the room that has great view of Mt Fuji & the beach .The staff are great & friendly. There's a half hourly hotel shuttle bus to nearest train station.

This was a very nice hotel and the view of Enoshima (and, briefly, Mount Fuji) was breathtaking. The staff was great and I enjoyed a pretty reasonably priced meal at the on-site Japanese restaurant.

There's a elevator that connect the hotel lobby to an event space down a very steep hill. It would've been nice to know that before I hiked up the hill to check in.

    7NanweiPosted on: 4-12-2025

    Clean and comfortable

There was no microwave for customers.

The staff are more than willing to assist you. I reached the hotel quite late while restaurants on the way were closed. Hotel staff managed with French restaurant to receive late order for our group.

Prime location with panoramic view of the ocean. Nice parking space for 1000 JPY per night. The bathroom is large and well-equipped.

The location was beautiful. Good access to the station.

The hotel was a bit dated and the bathroom had mould in it.

One of best location in Kamakura. We enjoyed the view from the window to see Mt Fuji and Enoshima coast line.

The building is a bit dated, specially the bathroom.
